"Wild is the music of autumnal winds amongst the faded trees." — William Wordsworth

African Leaves is a trout lodge located just 26 kilometres outside Dullstroom, Mpumalanga.

The name originated from the exquisite nature surrounding the lodge and the different seasons that it goes through.

Summer - lush, green fields and an abundance of water and river flowing through the poplar forest.

Autumn - the tranquility of a light breeze through the colouring leaves of the Oak tree next to Oak House.

Winter - cold, crisp air and drops of dew frozen on the pale fields of grass, the warm rays of sunlight entering through the windows and the roof of The Hothouse.

Spring - rebirth, a gentle awakening of small water streams, trout jumping from the mirror-like surface of the dam in front of you and the stillness of a twilight sunset.

Combine this with the privacy and comfort of the accommodation, and African Leaves will provide you with the ultimate weekend getaway.
